People"Do not look at his appearance … for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." (1 Sam. 16:7). To understand people accurately, we must learn to perceive the meaning in their heart. In this section, through reflecting on the lives of various Bible characters, we will learn how we can properly perceive and assess people and how they are faring. We will also learn how we can more accurately understand ourselves. Three Bible characters are given more attention and what they went through are covered in three mini series of messages. The first is on Job before, during and after his trials. The second is on Joseph as a slave and prisoner, and the third concerns the life and ministry of John the Baptist.
